A$AP Ferg Opens Up About Relationship with A$AP Mob

A$AP Ferg is breaking his silence.

Fresh off the release of his new album Floor Seats II, the Harlem rapper is speaking out about his fallout with A$AP Mob. Earlier this month, A$AP Illz announced that Ferg was no longer part of the Harlem rap collective.

“Ferg aint ASAP NO MORE. Sorry guys. That n***a burnt out, songs dumb trash. Mr anthem can’t get right,” Illz said.

However, A$AP Nast later claimed that Ferg was still very much a part of the group. “THE TRAP LORD WAS NOT AND WILL NOT BE KICKED OUT OF A$AP FALSE NEWS EVERYBODY GO HOME NOW #ASAPFOREVER,” he tweeted.

During an interview with “Ebro in the Morning,” Ferg addressed the status of his relationship with the Mob and announced that he has recorded a song called “Big A$AP,” on which he will reveal more.

“It was something super petty, but to make a long story short, I address it in a song called ‘Big A$AP’ that I’m adding onto [Floor Seats II] in a week,” he said. “So the song is called ‘Big A$AP’ and you gon’ get all the answers you want out of that song.”

The issues surrounding Ferg and the Mob happened to coincide with his album release. “They gave me promo I couldn’t pay for. I couldn’t pay for this promo,” said Ferg, adding, “That A is still tatted on me.”

Despite the drama, Ferg says he will always be a part of the group. “I am the A$AP Mob. Who’s been waving this flag for the past couple years? You can’t spell A$AP without saying A$AP Ferg.”

He and A$AP Rocky also remain close. While the two may not post it on the ‘Gram, Ferg reveals that “while all of this was happening,” he was in L.A. with Rocky. “We was working on music and everything for most of the quarantine,” he said.

On Friday, Ferg released his new album Floor Seats II featuring the Tyga-assisted single “Dennis Rodman,” plus appearances from Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Marilyn Manson, and Lil Wayne.
