Not even a global lockdown can stop Tory Lanez from releasing new music.
The prolific rapper-singer has announced an April 10 release date for his mixtape The New Toronto 3. He also revealed the cover art, which is a photo of him holding his son.
The New Toronto 3 arrives just four months after his last album, Chixtape 5, and is the third installment in Tory’s New Toronto mixtape series, which started in 2015. It will also serve as his final release on Interscope Records.
“And it’s no bad blood with the label @Interscope,” he tweeted. “I HAD A 5 ALBUM DEAL ….I GAVE THEM 12 PROJECTS /ALBUMS if u include all the mixtapes with original music.”
He has already released two songs off the project, “W” and “Do the Most.” A video for the latter is set to debut later today.
In the meantime, Tory has been spending his time in isolation by hosting his “Quarantine Radio” livestream on Instagram, which has featured special guests including DMX, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Bryson Tiller, and more.
