Kodak Black Donates Money, Gifts to Families For Christmas From Behind Bars

Even a federal bid doesn’t stop Kodak Black from playing Santa Claus in his native Florida this year.

According to a recent report from TMZ, South Florida rapper Kodak Black, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, is giving thousands of dollars to charities, individual families and even houses of worship in his hometown of Broward County for the holiday season.

The “Zeze” rapper’s attorney Bradford Cohen says that Kodak has ordered his camp to purchase bikes, dolls and other toys for two to seven-year-olds in Broward’s Paradise Day Care Center. Octave is also giving up gifts and money to one family with a blind child through the LightHouse For the Blind organization. He’s also signed off on a $1K donation to Rabbi Kaplan of the Downtown Jewish Center Chabad in Fort Lauderdale to add towards the construction of a new synagogue.

Just a message to other entertainers behind bars; don’t let the impasse of incarceration hinder your ability to give during the holiday season!
