Chicago rapper Lil Reese was been shot earlier this month in the neck. While the rapper has made appearances on social media showing his recovery since then, police didn’t have any lead on the suspects that committed the crime. That is, until today.
According to NBC Chicago, the police may have found a person of interest in the shooting of Lil Reese. “Country Club Hills Public Safety Director William Brown said police have ‘developed a person of interest’ in the shooting near 167th Street and Pulaski Road. Police have also recovered a car involved in the shooting.” Officials are waiting on an arrest warrant to proceed in the arrest of the individual.
On November 11, police arrived at the scene of a shooting at the intersection of 167th Street and Pulaski Road in south Country Club Hills. At the point when officials landed on the scene, they found the injured individual had just been taken to South Suburban Hospital’s emergency room in Hazel Crest with a shooting injury to the neck. He was then moved to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he recouped.
The Chicago rapper isn’t letting the near-death experience stop him from making music. He revealed to fans that he would be working on a new song titled “16 shots.” I did song last nite called 16 shots produced by murda on beats y’all kno I can’t talk rite, a** track i whisper on.”
