Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross might not be looking for a Tekashi 6ix9ine collaboration when he eventually gets out of prison. Yung Renzel is sparking headlines after having late rap artist Nipsey Hussle diss the jailed rapper on his new Port of Miami 2 album.
On Ricky Rozay and Hussle’s posthumous “Real N*gga Lifestyle,” Nips takes direct aim at 6ix9ine’s publicized decision to work with law enforcement after getting arrested last year on drug racketeering charges.
Nip features on the eighth track of Port Of Miami 2, “Rich N—a Lifestyle.” Alongside Ross and Teyana Taylor, Nip delivers one last confident verse. This is Rick Ross, so the song is a thumping banger, but Taylor’s R&B sensibility lends the song a smooth groove. Hussle’s verse is the real centerpiece of the track, though. His bars are tight as always, but he sneaks in a quick dig at one of hip-hop’s most controversial figures — “Can’t name a fake n—a that was not exposed / Y’all n—as surprised that Tekashi told?” (UPROXX)
In a recent interview, Dipset’s Jim Jones said Tek’s decision to work with the feds in a drug trafficking case forced him to no longer support the Brooklyn rapper.
“His history is erased. We not even gon’ say what we liked or what we [don’t like]. Screw him. He did some actions that he can’t come back from, so his name non-mentionable – I don’t know what he could do [if he gets released]. I don’t give a f*ck what he could do. That’s not my job. If he did step foot in there, they should stay far away from him. I grew up in the era where certain things – you can’t come back from. It’s not fixing that. You black, you black forever. You a rat, you a rat forever. Ain’t no coming back from that. So, that’s a subject that we don’t even have to touch on.” (“The Cruz Show”)
Back in February, rap star Meek Mill and Jade went at each other’s necks over 6ix9ine – notably his decision to plead guilty on federal charges and cooperate in a racketeering case.

Months ago, 6ix9ine collaborator 50 Cent poked fun at the hip-hop artist’s legal nightmare with a savage meme.
