After taking a social media sabbatical, Nicki Minaj makes her long-awaited return with her new single “Megatron,” which arrives just in time for summer.

Over an island rhythm, produced by Pop Wansel and Nova Wav, the rap queen blesses the track with her playful wordplay.

The explosive companion video, directed by Mike Ho, takes place in a jungle setting and co-stars Nicki’s real life boyfriend, Kenneth Petty. The couple shows off their chemistry in the steamy scenes, while Nicki sets her lime green Lamborghini on fire.

In addition to “Megatron,” Nicki recently collaborated with Trina (“BAPS”) and Chris Brown (“Wobble Up”).

On Friday, she will host a new episode of Queen Radio starting at 2 p.m. PST on Apple Music.
