The “Crank That” rapper appeared in court Tuesday (April 30), after being locked up for 20 days, and now will return to jail to complete his sentence. He has received credit for 40 days of time served.

Even with 240 days in jail, Soulja is getting off lucky. TMz reports during court the judge let the rapper know he was considering giving him two years in state prison but had a change of heart while acknowledging missed business opportunities.

Big Drako was originally arrested due to not completing his court-mandated community service. Soulja even went as far as falsifying evidence to prove completion. Back in February during a road of his home, ammunition was found. The raid was conducted due to a report he was holding his ex-girlfriend against her will in the home. Soulja had a previous weapons case in 2014.

The year started out promising for Soulja Boy who arguably delivered one of the five best interviews in the history of The Breakfast Club. During his appearance, he spoke about the possibility of new music, a film of his life and various entrepreneurial efforts. All of those are not seemingly on hold with his sentence.
