Dylan on Holes in Our Stories:
This album is the story of me putting myself back together again. The songs throughout the album are interconnected in a way that weaves in and out of the most impactful experiences and people that have defined my ups and downs the last few years: the loss of an old relationship, loss of a relative, and a loss of sense of self while living alone in New York City. Holes In Our Stories is about moving on from those things that get left unresolved. The conclusion of the album is that we can finally see our lives as perfectly complete only when we look back on them.
