New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is making headlines courtesy of a new viral video featuring him in an anti-abuse sex shop advertisement for Valentine’s Day.
On Monday, the footage went viral and shows 6ix9ine starring in the video promoting a New York adult store.
The video features 6ix9ine referencing his past domestic mistakes and hints at becoming a better partner.
In the video for Romantic Depot, the music artist tells a store employee that he and a female companion are looking to “spice things up.” The worker cautions Tekashi, whose legal name is Daniel Hernandez, to know his partner’s limits. “I agree. When I was younger, I used to make a lot of stupid mistakes,” he replies. “But I’m ready to learn more.” After celebrity tattoo artist Donna Marie Lombardi appears on screen to tell viewers to pick up a pamphlet on domestic violence prevention when visiting the store, Tekashi closes with: “Thanks Romantic Depot. I now know how to treat women with dignity and respect.” (The Daily Beast)
Recently, 6ix9ine’s ex-girlfriend and mother to his daughter Sara Molina revealed the physical abuse she received from him during a recent Dubai trip.
“He punches me out of nowhere,” 23-year-old Sara Molina said of the October encounter. The rapper—who cut a deal last month with prosecutors to flip on fellow members of a violent gang—had beaten her often during their seven years together, a harrowing history she recounted for the first time to The Daily Beast. This particular punch drove a hair extension clip into her scalp. “So I was leaking blood,” she recalled. “There was blood on the hotel pillow cases. He got scared.” (The Daily Beast)
Last month, speculation developed about Sara possibly gearing up to spill tea on her former flame.
In early January, Sara went to her Instagram Live with an emotional update on her feelings toward 6ix9ine.
