Houston rapper Travis Scott might have a little explaining to do. Music veteran Victoria Monet has claimed Cactus Jack low-key stole music before blowing up as a hip-hop superstar.
In a new interview, Monet spilled her guts on the alleged audio theft after getting asked about her “Sin City” writing credit off Kanye West‘s 2012 Cruel Summer G.O.O.D. Music album.
“Funny story. Travis Scott when he first moved to LA he was living with me and Tommy on our couch. So basically, Travis Scott took files from Tommy Brown and took them to Kanye and said he produced them and it was on video. He took a song I had written a hook to and took it to Teyana Taylor for her to do and change a little bit. So Tommy ended up finding out because the footage was on his hard drive or something. I can’t quite remember, but he saw him in the studio trying to act like he made the beat.” (HIGHSNOBIETY)

Despite the wild claim, Victoria insisted Scott is still a solid individual.
“The industry has it’s good and bad parts. I know at his core he’s a good person. He just wanted to win. But, that’s what happened. A misunderstanding of him taking things to Kanye that he didn’t really do.” (HIGHSNOBIETY)
Monet has since hit up her Twitter page to reflect on the interview going viral.

Outside of the hefty accusation, Scott recently dropped nearly $500,000 on an Astroworld Tour-themed jewelry design.
We’re told Travis dropped around $450,000 on this incredibly detailed chain and pendant. It’s pretty much the bling equivalent of his concert layout, complete with his mug in the middle of a Ferris wheel and the tracks of his roller coaster stage design. These ain’t space rocks. Our sources say the pendant and chain feature 150 carats of VS diamonds and over 1,000 grams of gold! (TMZ)
