6ix9ine Arrested by Feds on Racketeering Charges

6ix9ine and three of his associates are in federal custody after being arrested on Sunday night (Nov. 18), according to the New York Police Department and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

The 22-year-old rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was arrested on racketeering and firearms charges. 6ix9ine’s associates, ex-manager Kifano Jordan (“Shotti”), Jensel Butler (“Ish”), and Faheem Walter (“Crippy”) were also taken into custody.

Last week, Tekashi fired his management team including Shotti and canceled his upcoming U.S. tour. During an interview with “The Breakfast Club,” he revealed his two fears—God and the Feds. “Only two things I’m scared of in life, God first and the FBI,” he said.

He was recently given four years probation in his child sex case, but the judge warned him that could be resentenced and face prison time if he didn’t stay out of trouble.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Monday afternoon.

6ix9ine is gearing up to release his debut album Dummy Boy on Friday featuring appearances from Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, and Tory Lanez.
