David Meloni aka D-Mo Did it is officially the hottest producer in Rhode Island right now after his Rick Ross/Meek Mill/Maybach Music hit “Shaq & Kobe” has gone pure beast mode on the industry. Generating millions of streams and views, the track has already been commercially licensed and even remixed with Shaq himself. Produced by a collaboration between D-mo and Grammy-nominated producer Fresh Ayr, the collab is a result years in the making. The two met back in 2019 initially through social media, where Fresh and D-mo formed a sort of mentoring friendship, and the rest is now history. D-mo had previously worked extensively to produce Hammer Hendrix’ Coexistence album, which was devastated prior to release by the death of the artist and subsequent loss of all investor funding just prior to the album drop. After a brief hiatus to mourn the loss of his close friend Hammer and the work they put in together, D-mo has come back stronger than ever. “It’s a great feeling when not many believe, but you believe in yourself and just grind while ignoring the noise until you get there”. Considering the success of the single, D-mo is definitely there! This is not the last time we will hear about this guy, and we are keeping an eye out for who he produces next!
