The Weeknd is coming to a stadium near you.
The XO superstar has announced that his tour will now be a global stadium trek that will kick off next summer. He has also given it a new name, “After Hours Til Dawn,” to reflect his upcoming album.
“The tour dates are moving and will commence in the summer of 2022,” The Weeknd wrote in a statement. “Due to constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires stadiums.”
He also shared a trailer for the tour featuring what appears to be a new song.

The “After Hours Til Dawn” tour will make its way across the globe including North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East. New dates will be announced soon.
All tickets for the previous tour will be refunded automatically and ticket holders will be given priority access to the new stadium shows once they go on sale.
The original “After Hours Tour” was set to commence in January after it was delayed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The 104-date trek included North American and European dates.
The Weeknd is gearing up for his new album, the follow-up to 2020’s After Hours, which has already produced the single “Take My Breath.” He recently announced that the project is “complete” and awaiting some features.
