New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine and Travis Scott are going head to head for the right to call their latest solo album the top studio release in the country. New reports claim the duo are neck and neck for securing the number one spot.
According to reports, it’s still too close to call if 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy will edge Scott’s Astroworld on the music charts.
The battle for #1 on this week’s chart is a mega-squeaker and still way too close to call, as two hip-hop titles, 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy (Scumgang via Create Music Group) and Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD (Cactus Jack/Grand Hustle/Epic) remain neck and neck with the finish line approaching. Sources close to Tekashi tell TMZ … “Dummy Boy” is being officially released Tuesday through Create Music Group. The album was originally set for distribution through Caroline and Capitol Music Group, but we’re told the two sides had a disagreement after ‘DB’ leaked online, and Tekashi turned to Create because he wanted his music released ASAP.
