At 3:28 AM, today, PST, I wrote these words for the first time ever. If you know me, you know I love to type “End of Episode,” but these words are something different. Emotional. A life moment. No matter how many shows I ever write, @power_starz will always be the first, the journey that brought me from new mom and first-time showrunner to now. Writing the #powertv series finale has been a labor of love, a transformative experience, and a huge privilege. I am grateful and humbled to write these words, to have the opportunity to tell a story and end it well, in a forthright way, to the best of my ability. I will say this: the end is harder than the beginning, but so deeply worth the work. I share this work with @la_gabriela_uribe who started the journey with me seven years ago in development.
