New York rapper 50 Cent isn’t done calling out Comcast Xfinity. The hip-hop veteran has continued to go off on the TV provider for pushing to drop STARZ from its line-up.
On Tuesday, Curtis Jackson shared a story revealing Comcast Xfinity planned to make customers pay extra to watch shows like “Power” and “American Gods.”
On Saturday, Fif returned to his social media pages to go off on the TV provider with savage trolling.
Hours prior, Fif filled his Instagram page with huge “Power” spoilers to encourage people to demand Comcast Xfinity to keep STARZ.
According to reports, failed negotiations between STARZ and Comcast Xfinity might ultimately keep “Power” from airing to millions of people.
Lionsgate-owned Starz has delivered another shot across the bow in its ongoing talks with Comcast, warning millions of Xfinity customers that they could lose access to the premium network on December 10. Comcast is the No. 1 U.S. cable operator, with most of its 21 million-plus subscribers coming via the Xfinity service. In a statement, Starz said it “has been working diligently to reach a fair market distribution agreement with Comcast.” The statement added, “months before our contract deadline and in spite of our best efforts to engage in meaningful discussions, Comcast has publicly stated their intention to drop our networks from all packages and bundles.” (Deadline)
