New York rapper 50 Cent is all about the troops. The hip-hop veteran pulled through in a big way this week to pay homage to the military.
Curtis Jackson hit up Instagram Saturday (December 15) with a shot of himself performing for the troops at a Bellator MMA event.

Recent buzz emerged about the likelihood of nixed Marvel shows like “Luke Cage” resurrecting on Disney’s upcoming streaming service.
The execs have already said they don't want these shows on the Disney service. And even if they did, the nature of the contracts would make it virtually impossible. They're done. https://t.co/Jnox6YwafT

I should clarify. The Marvel shows for Disney+ are being produced by Marvel movie execs, who do not like or get along with the Marvel TV execs who made Dardevil et al. Technically, they COULD make a Luke Cage show a few years down the line. They just don’t want to.

And if they did, they’d be starting over from scratch creatively, like Sony ditching the Andrew Garfield movies for Tom Holland as Spider-Man.

In October, speculation developed about why Netflix canceled its popular “Luke Cage” Marvel series after two seasons.
A source tells The Hollywood Reporter that the cancellation was due to creative differences and the inability to agree to terms for a third season of the show. Netflix doesn’t release viewership figures for its content. (The Hollywood Reporter)
