West Coast rapper 40 Glocc isn’t buying what Akademiks is selling. The hip-hop veteran has questioned the rap personality’s denial about being an informant in Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s federal racketeering case.
40 went to Instagram Thursday (November 29) to add his two cents on the situation.

Both Ak and 6ix9ine’s lawyer have shut down the headline-generating informant gossip.
He says he “has zero connection to this criminal case against Daniel Hernandez & other co-defendants. I view them as good people to me.” He adds … “All these charges are a shock to me and do not involve me. I have never been questioned or much less cooperated in this. I am just a news reporter.” The outlet accusing Akademiks of snitching claims to have gotten its info from the lawyer of Tekashi’s former manager, Kifano Jordan, aka Shotti. However … Shotti’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, also denies the allegations. Leemon tells us … “I never made any public statement relating to this matter. Any statement attributed to me is false. I have not given anyone an interview about this case.” (TMZ)

Initially, reports went viral about Ak getting singled out as a 6ix9ine informant.
Shotti’s lawyer claims that federal agents pressed Tekashi’s fair weather friend so hard, that he chose to flip on the Brooklyn rapper rather than take the federal obstruction of justice charge, which carries a minimum of five years in federal prison. Akademiks’ IG account was/is being used as evidence by the feds, while the feds believe that his relationship with 6ix9ine can get them information that only Tr3Way members would know. It is also alleged that Akademiks is the one who convinced Tek to fire his entire team, including Shotti and the rest of Tr3Way. (The Source)
Yesterday, reports emerged about a wiretap transcript revealing Tek’s former affiliates possibly plotting on his death.
The feds wiretapped Jamel Jones — gang name, Mel Murda — a former member of 6ix9ine’s inner circle, who is now behind bars. During the convo, Jones says, “[Tekashi] is trying to dry snitch at the same time, homie. But he keep saying, f*** Treway, f*** that n****, Treyway. Ain’t no n****, Treway. F*** Treway.” Tekashi’s former manager Kifano Jordan, aka Shotti, responds with laughter and says, “Imma feed him though.” (TMZ)
