21 Savage is facing more legal troubles.
The rapper is now being sued for $1 million after a club promoter says he blew off a 2016 gig. The District Attorney in Liberty County, Georgia recently dropped the case, deeming it a civil matter.
According to TMZ, the promoter, Sadaetirs Kent Smith, is taking Savage to court for allegedly bailing on the performance in September 2016. Smith also claims Savage never returned the $16,500 he had been paid.
In October 2016, the promoter got a felony warrant against Savage for theft by deception, but never pursued charges, until 21 was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Feb. 3. Smith is suing for $1 million, saying the breach of contract caused severe emotional distress.
Meanwhile, 21 Savage is facing deportation after being released on bond last month. He has applied for a visa to stay in the U.S., but the process could take years.
