Savage Mode II is No. 1.
21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s collaborative album debuts atop the Billboard 200 with 171,000 equivalent album units in its first week, of which 22,000 are in album sales.
The sequel to their 2016 project, which features appearances from Drake and Young Thug, becomes the biggest sales week for either artist. The original Savage Mode debuted and peaked at No. 23 in July 2016.
Savage Mode II marks the second No. 1 and fourth top 10 for 21 Savage, following I Am > I Was (No. 1 in 2019), Without Warning (with Offset and Metro Boomin, No. 4 in 2017), and Issa Album (No. 2 in 2017).
Savage Mode II is Metro Boomin’s second No. 1 and fourth top 10, following Not All Heroes Wear Capes (No. 1 in 2018), Double or Nothing (with Big Sean, No. 6 in 2017), and Without Warning.

K-pop quartet BLACKPINK’s full-length debut The Album, which spawned the Cardi B-assisted “Bet You Wanna,” arrives at No. 2 with 110,000 equivalent album units (81,000 in album sales).
YG earns his fifth top 10 album with My Life 4Hunnid, which enters at No. 4 with 64,000 equivalent album units (47,000 in album sales). The project becomes YG’s highest-charting set since My Krazy Life debuted at No. 2 in April 2014.
Bryson Tiller scores his third consecutive top 10 album with Anniversary. The project, released on the fifth anniversary of his debut Trapsoul, opens at No. 5 with 57,000 equivalent album units (4,000 in album sales). Tiller previously hit No. 1 with 2017’s True to Self and peaked at No. 8 with his 2016 debut Trapsoul.
Elsewhere in the top 10, Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon climbs 4-3 with 68,000 equivalent album units. After debuting atop last week’s chart, Machine Gun Kelly’s Tickets to My Downfall drops 1-6 in its second week (56,000).
Juice WRLD’s Legends Never Die dips 6-8 (46,000), YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s Top holds at No. 9 (36,000), and Lil Baby’s My Turn rises 12-10 (34,000).
