Feds Issue Grand Jury Subpoena In Criminal Investigation of Diddy

Diddy Partners with DJ Khaled to Announce New 'Diddy Direct' Platform

Federal authorities have been trying to get a criminal indictment against Diddy since his legal trouble began earlier this year and now a grand jury subpoena is being issued for information regarding a hotel in Florida and Diddy’s ex, Daphne Joy.

Federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York obtained a subpoena a couple of weeks ago, ordering the swanky hotel to cough up all documents related to Diddy and Daphne Joy from 2001 up until the present, including reservation records such as check-in and check-out dates, room numbers, guest preferences and requests, and billing information, including room service. Feds also requested emails/ mailing addresses and phone numbers and with forms of payment, such as cash and/or credit cards.

Authorities’ requests have become even more specific, asking for computer IP addresses and logins for the individuals, as well as copies of their IDs and vehicle registrations.

In March, it was reported that Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles mansions were raided by federal authorities due to an investigation into Diddy’s involvement in alleged sex and narcotics trafficking. Also, it has been confirmed that a grand jury has been empaneled to hear evidence and witnesses were notified they could be called to testify in the Southern District of New York.

TheSource.com will update this story as details develop.

Consequence Drops New Single “Overdose” Featuring YNW Melly

Hip-hop veteran Consequence returns with his powerful new single, “Overdose,” featuring the controversial yet talented rapper YNW Melly. Produced by Timbaland’s hitmakers Angel Lopez and Fede Vindver, with co-production by Consequence himself, the track explores the struggles of addiction and the complexities of human dependency.

The collaboration came about unexpectedly when YNW Melly crashed a Miami studio session where Consequence was working with YE and Timbaland. This chance encounter led to a spontaneous partnership, blending YNW Melly’s melodic flow with Consequence’s vivid storytelling.

More than just a song, “Overdose” reflects on the dangerous allure of narcotics and other dependencies that can lead to self-destruction. Drawing from personal experiences and observations, Consequence addresses the temptations and challenges of addiction. The chorus, “We can start fresh in the morning long as we don’t overdose,” offers a message of hope and redemption.

Consequence explains, “My fans have always known me to deliver concepts and stories that hit home. ‘Overdose’ is in line with these records from my catalog.” With YNW Melly featured just before his legal battle, the track adds a layer of significance to both artists’ careers.

Candace Owens Apologizes to Michael Jackson: ‘I Believed He Was a Pedophile’

Candace Owens Apologizes to Michael Jackson:

Michael Jackson would have turned 66 this week, and in honor of his birthday, Candace Owens has publicly apologized to the King of Pop in the latest episode of her show, Candace.

Owens, who grew up listening to Jackson with her family, admitted she once believed the allegations that Jackson molested children but has since changed her perspective.

“I was young, but I was disappointed in myself for having believed everything about someone who, you have no idea what this man meant, especially to black Americans,” Candace says. “We will continue to hold a candle for the King of Pop.

“What happened to Michael Jackson could never happen today. The media ran things… They completely controlled our minds. I, too, was warped to believe that Michael Jackson was a pedophile.”

In the episode, Owens delves into Jackson’s significance, life story, and the media’s portrayal of him. She compares the negative coverage of Jackson to her own recent experience with journalists and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), who she claims tried to de-platform her.

Owens expresses her admiration for Jackson and describes her love for Thriller: “This is artwork,” she said, recalling her childhood memories of dancing in front of the TV, mimicking Jackson’s iconic moves.

Owens also explains why she doesn’t believe Jackson molested Jordan Chandler, emphasizing that “the case was closed” and criticizing the media for continuing to report on it. “Michael Jackson wasn’t guilty,” she argues, “But we know the media has never let facts get in the way of having a good time.”

You can hear the episode below.
